Notes: So, the most notable notes about this one are: Gabriella’s dad is actually dead in canon. I did not know this until I rewatched the trilogy. It is in fact hinted at that he is dead. I did not pick up on this even as a fatherless twelve-fourteen year old — I rewatched those movies so much. I think that honestly is kind of funny. That’s fucked up, right? Anyway, I’m sure that little tidbit explains why this exists, lol. Also, I removed a small portion wherein I killed Mrs. Montez. I don’t know why 13 year old me did this. But it felt gross so I removed it. I will probably eventually edit it her back in on both this site and the original forum but that is a day for a less busy me! This was my first public posted fanfiction, fun fact. I cleaned it up so you didn’t have to see the glaring spelling mistakes. Sorry in advance to anyone who reads this, I was 13! 😉
